The drop-in is held weekly during term times and is a place where parents can come and meet each other and have the opportunity to share their experiences and feelings. 

The drop in is a safe environment, where you won’t be judged.  Everything is confidential unless there are child protection issues.  It is not a therapy group, rather a place where support is offered as well as guidance, reassurance, practical help and information. 

Parents are given the opportunity to openly discuss how they are coping, as well as a suitable place to talk about their feelings which can be anything from confusion to isolation, from rage to desperation.

Children under the age of 4 are welcome to the drop-in.  If you are bringing a young child, please let us know so that we can arrange for toys and suitable refreshments to be available.
